Colombians in Ankara Bus Terminal AŞTİ (After returning)

Colombians in Ankara Bus Terminal AŞTİ
.
What da fuck, how the hell, no way, am i dreaming, etc were the first reactions I was feeling inside when I encountered them. It’s rare to encounter South American, even tourists in Ankara.
.
It started, when we were sitting in the collective shuttle from Ankara airport to bus terminal and one young man asked me if we were in AŞTİ. I was automatically about to say “el proximo” (next one), when my mind warned me to change to English, but at that moment I was thinking, is he an exchange student trying to learn Turkish? Did he asked me in Turkish? I couldn’t remember or differciate, because i was dreaming something else in an another world and a stranger woke me up. This all happened in 1 second, so, I replied “asxdtstzjamznd….” to him in a fatal 404 brain error, before somebody else replied him in English instantly 😂hahahaha
.
When we arrived to the bus terminal, they told me that, they are going to Cappadocia. It turned out to be a family, not only a young man. After a small conversation, it was the moment when I learned they’re from Colombia, and arrived Turkey today. Hahaha I laughed and gave the reaction above from inside, as I was also coming far away places close to Colombia today. The first people I was in direct conversation when I arrived Turkey were Colombians in Ankara, in Spanish 😂
.
So I aided them to buy their bus tickets, offered them a tour of Ankara while waiting their bus (though they were shy&suspicious to a foreigner they’ve recently met and gently declined), exchanged Whatsapp for anything, and went on our ways. Yet it was an unforgettable and hilarious moment, that left a mark, while observing Turkey&people since the time I arrived
